Documents needed for the rental:

If the client is a private person:
- identity card or passport
- The calculated rental fee in cash or transfer or credit card
- HUF 150.000 deposit to be paid in cash/credit card

If the client is a company:
- The personal data of the driver
- Copy of company registration
- Stamp of company
- An authorisation if the person in charge has no right to sign documents
- The calculated price should be paid in either cash or by transfer
- HUF 150.000 deposit in cash or by transfer
 
General terms and conditions

Cargorent has arranged your rental shown on the voucher/email after your payment of the services. Cargorent Hungary is an independent, not an agent for any particular car hire company. When you pick up the vehicle, you must sign a rental agreement provided by the rental company and subject to local laws. Your reservation confirmal must be presented at the rental desk in order to guarantee the Cargorent rate is applied. Additional fees may apply for rental service beyond hours of operation. All rates are guaranteed in HUF and are subject to accurate changing rate .

[YOUR RENTAL INCLUDES]

    * V.A.T. as of Booking Date
    * Specified or unlimited mileage and fire insurance
    * Liability Insurance for injuries or damages to persons or things outside the vehicle.
    * Rental includes Personal Accident Insurance
    * Rental includes Collision Damage coverage and Theft Protection for the vehicle. Rental limits potential vehicle damage or loss liability to an excess of EUR 600 or 10% of the total damage.
    * This insurance is not valid for single party accidents. This insurance will be voided if the client does not complete all required paperwork.
    * Rental includes Airport Surcharge for rental commencing at an airport location.

[RENTAL DOES NOT INCLUDE]

    * Fuel. Client is advised to return the vehicle with a full fuel tank and to retain a copy of final receipt for their records.
    * Location surcharge on additional optional items & services purchased locally.
    * Local toll, highway fees, or travel stickers required by local authorities.

[GENERAL TERMS]

    * Insurance coverage is provided by the rental company as indicated. Additional coverage may be available for purchase from the rental company.
    * Cargorent has no cancellation or amendment fees when  advised  5 days prior to the rental start date. Should the customer cancel less than 5 days prior to rental start date, not show up or show up late to collect the vehicle a no show fee equal to the first 3 days of the rental will be charged. Cargorent can not refund any unused days if the vehicle is returned early.
    * Drivers license must be held for a minimum of 3 years (some exceptions may apply).
    * An International drivers license is strongly recommended for renters holding a non EU license.
    * Optional items (ie: luggage rack, child seats, etc.) are on a request basis only, for an additional fee.
    * Deliveries/Collections are available on a request basis only, for an additional fee.
    * Minimum driver age 23.
    * Maximum driver age 75.
    * Drop off charges, if applicable, are estimates only, and may change without notice.
    * The rental invoice may only show the balance due on delivery. This assures that you will not pay unnecessary surcharges.

    * Cars are not permitted to travel into former USSR countries (exc:Ukraine ) or any African country (i.e. Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, etc.).
    * Additional drivers sign on and pay a fee locally.
    * All rentals are based on 24 hour periods with a 4 day minimum rental, a full day is charged for any portion of a day that the vehicle is used.
    * Cargorent strongly advises client to check if car uses DIESEL or UNLEADED PETROL at time of pick up .
    * Please note at the time of pick up the local supplier will require a security deposit to be left for the vehicle. This takes the form of an amount (minimum: Excess + Fuel + VAT) being blocked on the primary drivers credit card, (cash deposits, Maestro, Switch and debit cards are rarely accepted so please be sure to check with our agents at time of reservation if you require this facility) or can be payed in cash. This amount will be returned in full at the end of the rental provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition as rent
    * Rentals exceeding 20 days, the deposit will be charged at commencement of the rental. Upon return this amount will be refunded, provided no new damage is found.
    * Please note: In common with most car hire suppliers the insurance coverage does not cover damage to windows, tyres, the roof, underside & interior of the vehicle, towing charges or damage caused negligently, wilfully or recklessly.
    * When traveling to Germany, the vehicle requires an environmental emission sticker. Please check with the car rental company at time of pick up.
    * In case of theft, accident or damage to the vehicle, regardless of the extent, driver must give a phone and written statement to the return location. If client fails to do so, they will be completely responsible for the damage
    * (even if the excess is included in the rate).
